The Right Hijab (+ outfit details)

There are so many accounts on Instagram that post pictures of hijabi fashionistas, and many accounts owned by Hijabis posting their own OOTDs like myself. Personally I am the curious type who likes to go through people's comments and read what they got to say, sometimes I just get to some pictures or youtube videos to explore the comments! A comment very very common that I've seen so many times is "sister this is not Hijab" and believe me that is quite a brief version of that, there are some people who write lines and lines telling you the reason behind Hijab and how you are not fulfilling the purpose God set it for (I bet you've seen examples).
What I found quite interesting is the very broad scale of Hijab styles to which this comment was written starting from clearly tight garments to dresses, all labelled by some as "this is not right Hijab". But just before typing this comment randomly to someone, did you, even slightly, put in mind that this person might have a bond with Allah beyond what you could ever imagine? Just like Hijab is a command from God, there are basic Islamic ethics that Allah taught us through prophet Muhammed (SAWS) that if you are genuinely concerned about a Muslim, you speak to them in person and not condemn them that they are faulty in public.
I am not saying that all Hijab we see is right or all Hijab we see is wrong, I am not even in the position to judge or classify...but all I know is that people reach out to God in different ways and there are so many other things that make one represent Islam right other than "the right hijab" as they call it. Another thing that some people miss is that they're probably not the first people to try to 'guide' this person. Personally, every time I get a comment regarding my skinny jeans I want to tell the person that I know they are tight, and I know that it might not be the 'right' Hijab or completely modest, I am not denying this, but we have different levels of 'Iman' and will to exactly apply everything we are told is supposed to be done, and even different perspectives and intentions on every single matter. So as we say in Egypt, "سيبوا الخلق للخالق" or leave the matters of the created, to their creator.

The Outfit

I have got so many questions regarding this outfit's details. It got to me in the most random way! I was looking for a cape and just googled "buy capes online". I found this on a Korean clothes vendor's page and ordered it months ago (still looking for the link to answer those who asked me). It did not look the same in the picture though, and does not look like that anyway without the belt, yes, never underestimate the power of belts to turn one piece all around!!
