Get a healthier body with praying!

This article may not be of interest to everybody, but it could VERY helpful to those who give attention to their muscle toning or fitness, especially moms or individuals with a tight schedule. Being all covered up when going out never means forgetting about toning. Working out yes does a lot to one's figure, but it's also very important to both your body internally and your psychological well-being and that is why I wanted to share this with you.
For two-three years before this one, I used to be a workout freak doing different types of exercising such as aerobics, Pilates and weight training. Then came the senior year in college to simply take so much time and energy away, and my schedule became too tight to give time to my fitness. I just wanted to at least maintain what I've got! About a month ago, I thought that I don't have to necessarily dedicate a full complete hour or so, and maybe divide my workout along the day. I related it to my 5 prayers, where after every prayer I do 10-20 times of at least 1 workout after every prayer. This yields 50-100 repetitions of every workout by the end of the day, and as I say any workout is better than no workout.
I'll give you a list and you can look up the details, as each one has different types and intensities. Some workouts that are very easy and could be done without needing training shoes, just you and your muscles could be:
  • For the tummy (lay down on the praying carpet so you don't hurt your back):
    • Crunches
    • Sit-ups
    • Bicycle Crunches
  • For your legs and glutes:
    • Squats
    • Lunges
    • Kick-backs
    • Bridge
  • Arms + Chest:
    • Bicep curls
    • Arm presses
    • Wall pushups
  • Stretches
Other times that I try to do 5-10 minutes of stretches or light exercising are one I wake up, or before going to bed. The former really makes a difference in your whole day and in your energy level. You can also do stretches all the time while sitting in class or your office by bending your knees and stretching, or for mothers while cooking you can stand on the tips of your toes for 5 counts go down on your heels and then stand on the tips of your toes again.
Just involve motion in your day in one way or another, and as I said earlier, any workout is better than no workout.
Love xx

Who said you can't wear a short skirt with Hijab! (OUTFIT DETS.)

Hello Beauts!
Well maybe at first you'd think that the title suggests a totally different topic than what it actually does, and that's true. As a shopaholic I just buy things that I like without much thinking of how will I wear them, and that was the case with that short skirt. In this outfit, the cape or shawl or whatever that I'm wearing on top of my white shirt was a short skirt that I really liked and loved its pattern. Since I am not a fan of wearing short skirts on top of pants the thing stayed in my wardrobe for months until it just popped to my mind to style it this way, and I think I'll do more of that as I personally loved how it looks, you can also try it!

Won't take more time talking and voila, my outfit details ,

Blazer and a RED Splash + Styling plain shirts

Today I went out out with one of my best friends to get some coffee and chocolate fondue <3. I woke up less than an hour before the time we decided earlier, and that is quite a short time for Heba to get ready! I did the usual just putting down pieces on my bed and see what works best, and that is when I thanked god for the basic pieces in my wardrobe as they save you in the last minute ( and here I'm referring to the shirt below my blazer).

Before going to the details, I'd like to mention a tip about plain shirts. Plain shirts are a must in any wardrobe, especially those that come in basic colors like beige, white, black and off-white. To give you a for-instance I got the picture of this plain neutral shirt from Topshop, similar to the shade I'm wearing under my blazer in the outfit of this post, and how it can be very practical and styled in NUMEROUS ways!
Let's count the different suggestions:
  1. Wear it all by itself with jeans or white pants and a mint/peach/dark fuchsia veil and golden accessories.
  2. Wear it with a camel/sienna colored thin waist belt and navy blue scarf.
  3. Wear it under an off-white kimono cardigan and a turquoise veil, with a golden short necklace, you can also put a waist belt on the shirt, or on top of both the shirt and the cardigan.
  4. Tuck it in a white, black or mint skirt.
  5. Wear it with its buttons opened on a shirt, the choices of colors or patterns are uncountable.
  6. Wear it on patterned pants.
  7. Wear it under a blazer or denim jacket.

And these are just some of the very very many ways that basic pieces can fit in your wardrobe with all different color combinations, these are the pieces that you just buy without thinking since you WILL wear them, it's just inescapable.

Two totally different styles! (2 outfits details)

Well this post has the details of two very different outfits, as one is very classical with dark colors and the other is sort of colorful with a bohemian twist.

Maroon-NavyBlue

There's a tip I'd like to mention about this outfit before the details:
I've been asked several times where do I buy my 'high-waist' skirts from. Actually none of my skirts are bought as high-waist, but you can turn any skirt into high waist using a belt that is exactly your waist's size, just pull it up and wear the belt where u want it to stop at your waist.

So let's go to the outfit:
